Important Membership Changes
The National organization has decided to change their membership terms to a fix date from August to August (their and our fiscal year). So, once a year, starting with this Small Talk, we shall be including our membership forms for you to become a member of the Canadian Turner Syndrome Society with an affiliation to the Vancouver Chapter. This membership gives you discounts to the Chapter events such as the ones included in this mail out and the National Conference.
It is very important to understand that your membership will now start and end in August. You will know your membership is up for renewal once you receive our mail out with the membership forms. For new members who join in a month other than August, your membership fee will be pro rated. We are also working on a system to add the year your membership is up to your address labels so that you know if you are a current member or if you have let your membership lapse.
We will keep you posted on these changes. For right now, we are emailing our current members to inform them of their current status. If you have not received an email about your membership, you are not a current member and need to fill out the membership form if you wish to be a member.
